About the Role
Procure key raw materials while ensuring cost‑effectiveness and quality.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers and transporters.
Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure a reliable and uninterrupted supply chain.
Monitor daily inventory levels at batching plants (silos, aggregate bins) to prevent stock‑outs or overstocking.
Implement SOPs for material handling to reduce wastage and improve stock accuracy.
Coordinate with Plant Managers and QC teams to ensure incoming materials meet required standards.
Use ERP and GPS tracking tools to monitor fleet movement and supply chain performance.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on procurement costs, inventory status, freight expenses, and logistics efficiency.
Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.
